Monterey Beer Festival 4th of July Weekend
Visitors and locals can celebrate the 4th of July during the 17th Annual Monterey Beer Festival. It is located on the pristine lawns of the Monterey County Fair and Event Center sponsored by Canna+Botanicals. Attendees can sample hundreds of beers from all over the world and are given a souvenir tasting pilsner included with admission. The event will also feature delicious food, live bands, giveaways and more. The festivities will benefit the Monterey County Fair Heritage Foundation which is a non-profit that raises money for scholarships. You can enjoy live rock and roll music on Daze on the Green, or hear the Spazmatics perform 80’s classics throughout the afternoon.
Where to Book Tickets for Festival
If you choose to purchase VIP tickets, you will have access to a private area. You can also beat the lines getting into the festival, and have private access to restroom facilities. The general price of admission is $45-$55, VIP tickets are $70-$80, and designated driver tickets are only $20. Each ticket holder must be 21 years of age or older. NFL alum John Madden used them as his sole caterer in 2006 for his induction ceremony into the Football Hall of Fame. The owner still goes on tour with him each year on the Madden Cruiser to Canton, Ohio. Celebrity chef Rachel Ray and other television stars have patronized the restaurants.
